Asked & Answered

  • The most important distinction between a Venue Coordinator and a Day-Of Coordinator: their focus and responsibilities.

A Venue Coordinator works for the venue and prioritizes its interests, while a Day-Of Coordinator is dedicated to you and ensures that all vendors fulfill their contractual obligations.

If your ceremony is at a different location, the Venue Coordinator won’t travel there. Their responsibility is limited to the venue, organizing events like the reception timeline but without creating it for you.

On the other hand, a Day-Of Coordinator is like your all-seeing wedding bestie. They manage logistics and will stay on-site until the last guest leaves (yes, even Uncle Bob who just can’t stop telling dad jokes). They advocate for you and are fully attentive to all your needs, from the beginning of your day to ensuring that all gifts and decor are safely packed up for you. Unlike the Venue Coordinator, they’ve got your back, your cake, and your sanity covered.
